About B50/Dacron : This string material is safe for use on any bow.
About Flemish Strings: This type string looks better, shoots quieter and has a much greater ability to be length adjusted than a standard endless loop string.
Care of String: String should be waxed as needed with Tex-Tite String Wax or equivalent.
Precautions: When waxing a flemish twist string never use any wax which contains silicone such as Seal-tite and use care when lengthening the string because taking too many twist out of the string or using incorrect wax will cause the loops to pull loose.

Choose Bow Type
Enter the Finished String Length: Click on the diagram above and you will see how we measure your string. It is best if the string is measured while the bow is strung or under some pressure. We measure your finished string while under a minimum of 100 pounds of pressure.
Note that the string will probably be shorter out of the pack when it arrives because it will draw back up somewhat when the pressure is released.
Also note that after being shot the string will generally exceed it's finished length. This problem is unique to flemish twist strings and is caused by the fact that the string is basically one big twist, as you shoot it in the strands of string work tighter together effectively lengthening the string. This problem is considerably more noticeable when the string is made from B50/Dacron because the material stretches and contracts more than any other material.
Keep this in mind when ordering, you can order the string a little short, say a half inch or just shorten the string back up after it lengthens.
Choose String Colors: As you choose the colors an image will appear of the actual bow string to be used, ditto for the serving colors. Keep in mind that there are variances in string color from spool to spool and in computers, etc. so the string may not be exactly the same color but it will be close.Two colors are included in the base cost. Third color is optional at an additional cost.
Nylon Serving: Choose this in the color you want if you like the Old School soft serving that has been used on bow strings for decades.
Specialty Serving: If you want a newer style serving choose one of these. They have an additional charge relative to the added material expense.
- Traditional Braided: This is similar to nylon but more durable and has a neat look
- Diamond Back: Extremely durable and has a neat look.
- Crown : The ultimate in durability and performance. Very slick which works great for finger release.

Serving Length: Type in how long you want the serving to be. We go by the idea that less is better on this because it will it be somewhat quieter and somewhat faster plus it looks cleaner with less. However not enough is no good and if you want it served from top to bottom we will do it, it's your string.
